A question asked by an Anglican liturgist to his students still remains with me, because of its relevance, not to mention its relevance to us today:
“How is the price of galunggong related to what we do in the liturgy?”
Now, I have to modify the question for a wider audience, because for one, the Northerners who answered that question could not find any seafood within shouting distance of their native villages, and on one of the sites which gets this feed, I have non-Filipino readers who won’t get the reference.
Here is the question, then, for your reflection:
“How is the price of bread/rice related to what we do in the liturgy?”
