Those with iTunes can download this year’s Dwight Terry lectures from Yale Divinity School from iTunes U. (It’s in the Humanities/Yale Religion category.) This year’s speaker is Terry Eagleton, whom I discovered at UP during my sojourn there. So far, I am listening to the first lecture, and I’ve been quietly giggling a lot.
Ironically, this Marxist lecturer knows his Christian theology. And he sees no contradiction between the two. He is, incidentally, the best critic of Dawkins I’ve ever read so far—in fact, you’ll find in the first lecture that he came up with a nickname for the two popular atheists: Ditchkins.
